I have, once again, a little catching up to do. I had every intention of doing a few posts this past week, but I was hit by a terrible cold! So instead of blogging, I became whiny and wimpy and just laid around and re-watched Veronica Mars ( I now have Paul hooked on that show too. Go me!). But I am now feeling better and will take the time to catch up.
A couple weeks ago Paul did a date night for us. He drew "make and decorate ginger bread houses". Since it's not the Christmas season and he didn't want to bother making gingerbread himself, he decided we would make and decorate graham cracker houses. It was genius! SO much easier than gingerbread. We both had major success and it was a lot of fun! He catered to my everlasting love of Christmas and made the whole date themed after that holiday. We played Christmas music all night (which, actually was a JOKE because it was HIS Christmas music which was super annoying rock bands making fun of the cheesy holiday songs. He loves anything obnoxious and sarcastic and that was all the music he would let us listen to that night. Boo.) Besides the music NOT being what I wanted, everything else was fun. Oh and I forgot about dinner. Paul thought it would be cool to make what my family has every Christmas eve -ebliscievers(probably totally botched the spelling on that, but whatever. It's danish.). For those of you who don't know what those are, they are little pancake balls that you make in a special pan that shapes them that way. Paul didn't think we needed the pan and we could just. . . try and make them without it. I convinced him that we would need the pan, and instead we could just make them into little pancakes, because the batter is basically the same. We did just that and they turned out soooo good! We ate them with jam and powdered sugar, and honey butter. We also fried up some bacon because well, bacon is always good.

I might also add that this date lasted FOREVER because we both took forever on our houses. Actually, this was a first-Paul finished before me. My roof took for-ev-rrrrr. But it turned out awesome.
I meant to blog about more stuff, but that will have to come later because conference is about to come back on! And that just means I'll have another post I'll have to add too because it might just be me needing extra guidance, but I have felt so inspired so far by all the talks given! Needless to say, I LOVE CONFERENCE!
